A Google search for hard drive recovery yields a lot of results. Most of the paid or sponsored results are newer fly by night companies that are not established hard drive recovery companies. The question you need to ask yourself if contemplating hard drive recovery services is “is this a legitimate company, do they have a clean room, how can I tell over the phone?”
There is only 1 hard drive manufacturers that actually approves and lists data recovery companies and that is Western Digital. DTI Data is one of the few American hard drive recovery companies listed on that page. That is one way to know that we are a legitimate hard drive recovery provider. If you need data or hard drive recovery by all means price us out with the other companies on Western Digital’s site. We beat them all, offer flat rate pricing and no data no charge services!
Most computer users are also aware of PC World magazine which has not only written and recommended our software, but recently interviewed Dick Correa our software and RAID engineer. They referred to Dick as the Hard Drive Recovery Guru in the interview. You can see all of Dick’s blog articles here.
Knowledge, experience and proof of our skills should be enough to give DTI an upper hand when you are looking for hard drive recovery company or data recovery services. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
My Maxtor external hard drive has been a workhorse for several years. All of a sudden my computer failed to recognize it. I tried it with another computer with the same result. It makes no sounds and the light goes on as though it were working but nothing. Because I have gone through several computers (I am a writer) I trusted my most important files to the external.
Is there any, not too expensive, way to recover my lost data?
i have an external Harddrive (Toshiba 320) which has been working, until just now when it does not get recognized by any of my my computers, but sometimes.
