I had a problem with corrupted files right before a big deadline for my work. I called a few places and explained the situation and they all told me there was likely no way to recover the data. However, one IT person recommended this company and I’m so glad they did. After speaking with them on the phone, I drove an hour from Lutz to bring my computer here. I brought it in and they quickly started working to see what if anything could be done. They were very professional and made no promises they could fix the problem, but I was ecstatic that they were able to in the end. As a photographer, I've unfortunately been blessed with the curse of consistent hard drive failures throughout my career. DTI has helped me recover my photos & videos 3 times in the past few years.
On the most recent case, even when they couldn't physically fix the problem due to an exotic component in the device, they called their colleagues on my behalf and referred me out to a lab that could. These are your guys for data recovery, don’t even bother going with anyone else. I had multiple companies tell me there was no way to get anything off my laptop or that I could pay an arm and a leg to “send it out to see what can be done.” I called DTI and they were optimistic from the get go. I was able to drop my laptop off in person because they don’t send it out to someone else. They ended up doing a full recovery and I could not give them a higher recommendation.
I was shocked one afternoon when I tried to open my hard drive and it wouldn't open. I tried everything. Took it to my local PC outlet and they told me it was garbage and they wouldn't be able to salvage it. I was going to have to accept the reality of losing everything. From personal pictures, work documents, and very important files that I have saved for years. Even though my local PC outlet couldn't do anything, they gave me a number to DTI recovery in Florida - I called them and David answered the phone. He was polite, professional, and listened. After he listened, he gave me options. I lived about 2.5 hours away so I took the drive and saw the team and the office. They treated me with respect, very honest and professional. It was a great call I received the next day to hear they were downloading my files. The dedication they put in their service to keep the customer posted. I thought I lost everything. When he called a couple days later to say everything was complete and they were going to FedEx the new hard drive to me, I was very happy. Once I received the new hard drive, I immediately put it to my computer and a big smile came upon me to see all my memories, documents, files and much much more. And yes I also learned a valuable lesson. Download your files to multiple sources for backup. So I did that immediately. DTI thank you for everything and highly recommend.

You absolutely can't put a price on the work that these guys do. Believe all of the reviews. Are they cheap? No. But do you want cheap or do you want your memories and tax documents back?
Great service start-to-finish. David called me after they received my drive. He reassured me that there was hope. Less than a week later, I had my Toshiba storage back with the contents of my old hard drive on it.

Drive saved. After losing almost everything in the flood I managed to save a WD Easystore 4tb hard drive. Years of music and graphic design work were on the drive. The drive finally stopped working. I took it to DTI. All the data was still there and recovered. I've already backed it twice on 2 didfferent hard drives. Took all night! Just a big thank you to those guys!!!
We recently lost a hard drive due to delayed corrosion from last year's hurricane flooding. Like many people, I procrastinated backing up my data despite knowing how important it was. I had a Western Digital hard drive that had about 350GB of music. This hard drive is literally my lifeline as DJ. One day when I plugged it into my laptop, nothing happened.
