SSD Data Recovery SATAFIRM S11 and SATABURN S11

PNY, Kingston and other Solid-State Drive manufacturers using the Phison controller may experience a change in the model of drive. The drives may also show incorrect size. The data on the drive will be inaccessible. Using manufacturer online tools may repair the problem but all data will be lost.
If you are looking to recovery your data, you have come to the right place.

SATAFIRM S11 usually occurs when a Solid State Drive (SSD) has endured quite a bit on NAND ware. Although SSDs level NAND ware by spreading read/write operations throughout the NAND chips often the amount of ware can no longer be leveled and cells may degrade. SATAFIRM S11 recovery can be time consuming and may come with some degree of unreadable sectors.

After a table of pairs is regenerated a virtual translator is used to recover the data from the SSD. However, it may take several imaging passes with different read variables to pickup as much user data as possible. It’s a good idea to check the health of your hard drive or SSD from time to time. We provide a utility called Hard Drive Engine that provides insight to both hard drive and Solid State Drive operational and wear levels. The tool is free and can be downloaded here. Solid State Drives use complex algorithms to limit wear and prolong the life and performance of the drive. We usually see this type of failure when firmware and lists that translate Physical Block Address (PBA) to Logical Block Address (LBA). The NAND chips store block size, and page size. In the page there is division of the System Area (SA), Error Correction Control (ECC), and data. Translation of this can become corrupt and cause a major malfunction of the SSD.
